Application submission deadline: The 15th of the month at least three months prior to an event if it involves out of District travel. If it does not involve out of District travel, applications may be submitted by the 15th of the month two months prior to the event. Grants will be awarded monthly.
Available Funds: $15,000
Criteria: Professional growth can be accomplished through a variety of learning opportunities.
Strong consideration will be given to initiatives that:
- Host outside experts or consultants who can provide on-site training and support for educators.
- Support educator attendance at high-quality professional organizations, conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Include a clear plan for sharing knowledge and training additional BPS staff following the professional learning experience.
To maximize the impact of available funding, requests for the same annual conference or seminar will generally be considered every other year rather than funded consecutively. This approach allows the Foundation to support a broader range of educators and professional learning opportunities.
Eligibility:
- Open to all certified employees in Bartlesville Public Schools. Awarded monthly to enable attendance at seminars, conferences, workshops and other developmental opportunities to enhance instructional and administrative training and management skills development.
- All grant recipients are required to complete the Grant Agreement Form before receiving funds.
Recommendation: To maximize the impact of available funding, preference will be given to sending one representative per grade level or school to a particular conference. Recipients are expected to share key learning and resources with colleagues upon their return.
