Bartlesville Association of Realtors Donates $100,000 to BPS Foundation

Realtors committed to public schools

For almost 100 years, the Bartlesville Association of Realtors has been committed to the community and surrounding areas. So it was logical, as the local Association chose to join the Tulsa Association of Realtors, that the proceeds from the sale of their office at 1201 SE Frank Phillips Boulevard would be donated for the purposes of improving Bartlesville.

The Association’s members, who are real estate professionals, know the importance of strong local public schools. “We’ve helped generations of people settle into their homes, businesses and lives in Bartlesville,” said Pam Carter, former president of the Association. “Our clients understand that education is key to our economic future. What attracts them to Bartlesville, and is often a deciding factor, is the quality and strength of the schools.”

After completing the sale of the building in November, the Association chose to donate $100,000 of the proceeds to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation. The gift will be used to fund strategic initiatives identified by the district and the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation.

The Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation is a privately funded non-profit providing financial resources to inspire learning, enrich teaching, and create opportunities for educators and students of Bartlesville public schools. Learn more at bpsfoundation.org.
