BancFirst Supports Students with a Gift to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation

The Bartlesville branch of BancFirst teamed up with BancFirst’s Trust Department to provide $5,000 to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation (the “BPS Foundation”).  The BPS Foundation will use this generous gift to support Bartlesville students and teachers, offering them opportunities for educational enrichment that they would not otherwise have.

These funds will benefit BPS Foundation programs, from grants to teachers to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.  The funds will provide hands-on activities for students, professional development opportunities for teachers, and books for preschool children.  BancFirst will impact all Bartlesville teachers and students with this gift.

“Bancfirst has been a longtime supporter of the BPS Foundation and our schools,” said BPS Foundation Executive Director Blair Ellis. “From sponsoring tables at BPS Foundation events to partnering with local elementary schools to provide resources, BancFirst values public education in Bartlesville.  This investment highlights the bank’s commitment to our schools and our community, and we are honored to put it to good use.”

“We are pleased to provide support for the Bartlesville Public Schools,” said Rick Gaut BancFirst Bartlesville President.  “We appreciate the hard work of our local teachers and staff.”

Community members are encouraged to contact Blair Ellis, the executive director of the BPS Foundation, for more information on BPS Foundation programs.
